delta-3-carene has a sweet and earthy aroma with piney undertones. It is a constituent of turpentine that produces a colorless liquid which is not soluble in water. It is used in cosmetics, perfumes and found to be a natural antihistamine.
Found in rosemary, basil, bell pepper, cedar, and turpentine.
